"none of those issues stem from being men" - not mentioning who because i don't like this shit
lemme see, transfem, transneu can relate but lemme question transfems:
have you been told that testosterone is gonna poison your ability to hold a baby? that you could have been a mother? that you were such a pretty woman going to waste? are you invisible from every transgender campaign? have you been denied healthcare like cervical smears due to transitioning? can you go through obstetric violence as a trans person? do you suffer barriers to abortion services due to your transition? did you know only cis women can abort in ireland? do you have people telling you that you had rapid onset gender dysphoria?
what i mean from all of this is that trans men, but also a section of nonbinary people go through this, and it's not an experience that can be explained by "transphobia" or "transmisoginy" because we are not women. WE ARE MEN. I hope this is the last time I talk about this.
Also TIRF, even on the damned wikipedia page about discrimination against trans men, say that trans men are denied help in organizations like those because they focus only on women and nonbinary people, so yeah. I don't like that I am an intersectional feminist for a reason.
If I hear one more word saying that trans men do not go through a specific set of violence that needs a name, I am moving to
capivarinha.club because I am tired of gringos for real.
Anyway if you need more shit, you can do your research, googling transandrophobia shows a lot of resources trans men have made along the years. There's this small page too
