Finding a hair routine that works for you is so nice. Like now I can make my hair look lush and textured instead of like abysmal dog shit, fuck yeah!

I have fairly oily 2b (maybe 2c) hair so most of the battle for me is getting it to be the right level of oily without it getting too dry or greasy. What I do rn (subject to change!!) is use conditioner at most once per week, go heavy on shampoo, brush it when it's wet at the start of the day, and brush it while it's dry at the end of the day, which I do to avoid frizz and dandruff, respectively. It looks really nice rn so I think that strikes an alright balance.

Most of what I know I just picked up from trial and error and my afab family members, tbh.
