Bernie Sanders! Seemingly elected in 2044. When I saw that I thought that it was a weird plot hole, like, Bernie's too old to run *now*, by 2044 he'll be dead, right? Oh! Oh yeah!
So, uh, yeah, Jon Bois put in a cool detail showing 17776's plot hook before it gets introduced textually, neat.

Also the post itself doesn't even say that, it says that the main plot hook is related to why Bernie Sanders isn't dead but by that metric for all intents and purposes it could be a story about how Vermontians are vampires.

shroomie@AppleAmps idk i think that basically every part of an experience beyond external critical consensus and general vibe of the most basic promotional material (key art, covers, etc) counts as a spoiler. most of the time i don’t mind but for things i hear particularly great things or which have particularly compelling basic promotional material, i want the smallest amount of spoilers possible
