Nah man, I engaged with it on the same wavelength as I would a Jordan Peele movie and came away deeply underwhelmed because the themes were too cerebral to really glean when viewing it like that. Also I like horror! I just scare easily so I don't watch or play a lot of it, like white people with spicy food.

Gonna be real here I don't really get vtubers. Like what benefit do I as a viewer get from seeing a generic anime woman on screen instead of like, a real human being with pores and tendons and shit.
I get that for the streamer it must feel nice not to have to put on makeup or be afraid of people deepfaking your real face or whatever but like why would I wanna seek out Vtubers to watch just because they're Vtubers?

I mean there are a ton of famous companies, Ubisoft, Supercell, Rareware, Rovio, ZA/UM, Mercury Steam, the guys that made the Game Genie, etc. but idk any individual devs that are that recognizable. Off the top of my head are Hempuli (Baba is You) and Robert Kurvitz (Disco Elysium) but they're not like, household names.
