@AppleAmps yeah i used to subject myself to one of the wokescoldy circles that increasingly would like jump on people for setting off tripwires like that all the time when i just wanted to be around other trans people and hadnt found better circles to be in and like i got so tired of that stuff. like, if everyone involved was mentally healthy the discussion would go something like:
👨🦰: "hey guys, how are you all doing?"
👩: "I'm doing well, by the way I know you didn't mean anything by it but I don't really like being called guy"
👨🦰: "Oh sorry, I won't call you that again"

The "Guys is/isn't gender neutral" shit is soooo fucking stupid dude. Like it really goes to show why you should try to interact with people irl instead of spending your life in a goon crypt.
If you think a word is gender neutral, but the person you're talking to dislikes hearing it, you shouldn't say it to them. On the flipside, if you think a word is fine to say and whoever you're talking to agrees, then you can continue. That goes for "guy", "dude", "bro", and literally all other words. If you get all pissy about how "oh in MY opinion it's gender neutral" that's fucked, and if the other person gets all pissy about "how DARE you call me that" when you were just using a pretty commonly accepted meaning that's *also* fucked, be considerate to each other and nothing goes wrong.

it has a friend who finally managed to flee out of russia to georgia with another friend, both trans
they don't really have a lot of resources and no idea how to continue, their plan on getting into the EU unfortunately failed and they fear that they might not be able to stay in georgia for too long
does anyone know someone or some organisation or some resources that might be able to help? pls send it a DM here or a signal message (aurora.292)

See, this is good advice, but I'm never really sure like, *when* to do that kinda stuff, y'know? Obviously there's like, birthdays and holidays and anniversaries but doing it outside of the societally sanctioned "gift giving times" makes it feel like, kind of a grand gesture in an overly intense, overbearing way. idk.

I wish there was a way to like, beam how someone makes you feel into their head. Saying "I love you and you make me happy" isn't enough, I need them to viscerally know how much they mean to me.

Sometimes I doubt whether I'm "really trans" or not, and then a bus driver or a panhandler or whatever calls me "señorita" and I can physically *feel* my heart go ":0! :D!!!"
