I'm 18 but still, don't be gross in my mentions.
My avatar is a pixel art bush with legs, tired eyes, and a rose on their head.
My banner is three girls from the anime Lucky Star talking.
Proud humanist.
All my posts have alt-text but some of my boosts don't, sorry!

Meatboy's Cotton Alley feels like such a core early 10's gaming idea. Like "what if the GIRL character had to save the BOY but her levels were actually HARDER?" is both cool and subverts the damsel in distress princess Peach tradition but like, making a whole show of it feels so quaint, y'know? Barely 3 years later Peach was playable in 3D World from the get-go and no one really cared.

The Tier List, no details or anything but if you don't wanna read it don't

@autumn
Wait ok here it is in ranking form:

1 - The first time I dated a transfem
2 - The first time I dated a transmasc
3 - Deltarune Chapter 4
4 - That one tboy I didn't date but I did, y'know, "get to know"
5 - Deltarune Chapter 2
6 - Deltarune Chapter 1
7 - Deltarune Chapter 3
8 - The second time I dated a transfem, don't ask

(I'm not counting one trans partner I've had here because they're on fedi and I don't wanna make them uncomfortable by comparing them to Deltarune, aside from that that's all of them)

No it's a single tier list with both, I've already made the separate ones.

I think it shows the specific way in which my brain is broken that when I read your post my first thought was "hm wait I could make a tier list out of this" and then I *did*.

Didn't post it in the reply because I didn't want it to be like, TMI but believe you me I did.

I've done both and honestly it depends on the chapter of deltarune and the trans person, certainly the latter reaches higher peaks but I've definitely been with trans people that don't hold to the standard of quality of Deltarune Chapter 4, for instance. (Tbh I've been with people that were sub ch. 3 but what can you do)

If a puppygirl bottoms, does that technically make her an "underdog"? 🤔

If a professional Game Reviewer plays a porno game and DOESN'T jerk off to it that's journalistic malpractice. Jacking off in real life is one of the genre's central mechanics and the only one that sets it apart from the rest, it'd be like a journo playing Mario without jumping.

Also I think you would like Absolute Martian Manhunter by Deniz Camp and Javier Rodríguez.

Like if you were an omniscient being that could see the speed direction size whatever of everything I'm pretty sure you could deduce how things will play out ahead of time. Human beings aren't omniscient, though, so socially and politically you have to assume people choose to do things because that's the most true-ish explanation flawed subjective beings can achieve.

In a physics sense probably not but in a political sense, definitely.

I do wonder if the asynchronicity of social media plays into this, like being asked to reply to words on a screen whenever you want allows for more intentional and unintentional misunderstanding than being forced to talk to someone in real time.

Oh! I'm sorry for playing into ableist tropes. What I was trying to illustrate, admittedly in a mean-spirited way, was how people who play into these kinds of sectarian pseudo-discourses tend to be very disconnected from the real world and general social norms in a way that causes them to say things online that would obviously not fly offline, but I probably could've picked a nicer example.

I can't believe so much online trans discourse is centered around shit that does not fucking matter irl. Most of the people writing twitlongers treating transandrophobia and transmisogyny like Pokemon types that are super effective against each other would start crying if you asked them to order a pizza over the phone.
