Yeah, I guess that's it, Alaska is a lot whiter than NWT and Nunavut so despite geographic and cultural similarities that's probably why they're more conservative. Same percentage of European descendants as Yukon, though, so there are probably other factors at play.

Ok yeah but that also goes for the territories! If anything I'm pretty sure Nunavut, NWT, and Yukon have even lower population density, but their elected representatives are all left of center.
