Fair, fair, they certainly could've gotten some Hungarians or Latvians or whatever to balance out the roster but Curie and Kallas from Poland and Greece, respectively work well enough.

Well yeah but the people concept seems to be aware of that, given how they're mostly just scientists and artists and not, like, Columbus or whatever. The 200 euro note even has a nobel peace prize winner, for all that's worth.

Eh, maybe I'm overly orthodox, I guess it's hard for me to take the birds seriously when everyone else is doing people. Maybe the euro could do it like China's fifth series of renminbi and just have Ceasar or Von Der Leyen or whatever on all the bills.

The birds are too samey and fail to convey any national sentiment. Every major uses historical figures for their banknotes because people are easy to differentiate at a glance and also foster communal spirit, idk why Europe should be any different.

This would also in a roundabout way fix JJK's problems with female characters because Gege's tendency to write off all the women after the arc they get introduced would be less noticeable.

My evidence for why an anthology JJK would've been better is that JJK 0 and Hidden Inventory are the two best arcs by far and they're also the most separate from the "main story".

Now that I've read the entirety of JJK I gotta say that so many of its problems would be solved if it was just an anthology series. Do like 5 volumes each of the second years, first years, third years, and hidden inventory and then have all those characters crash into each other in a massive blowup against the big bad. Akutami is really good at designing characters and making interesting set pieces but he sucks giga ass at developing those characters and writing the overarching story, so he should've gone for a style of narrative that fit his style better.

Perfect Vermin does a version of this! It takes the form of a singleplayer prop hunt where you patrol empty office buildings searching for "vermin", or out of place furniture. The only difference between vermin and regular chairs or plants is that they're visibly "wrong" in some way and they scream when you hit them with your hammer, which is the only form of interaction you're given. Between levels you get sneak peeks of a dying old man in a suit telling you to kill them at all costs, and as the game goes on the question of why you're killing things that pose no threat to you at the behest of a man at war with his own body comes into sharper focus. Not gonna spoil the ending but it's good.
Also the only game in this genre made by a trans woman, as it happens.
