I'm 19 but still, don't be gross in my mentions.
My avatar is a pixel art bush with legs, tired eyes, and a rose on their head.
My banner is three girls from the anime Lucky Star talking.
Proud humanist.
All my posts have alt-text but some of my boosts don't, sorry!
(The edit to the Walking Bushie in my bio was done by @h@besties.house, check her out!)

This is evocative imagery but don't midwives generally take babies *out* of wombs?

I feel that getting a buckshot of experiences from a single creator or team is a much more artistically enriching experience than sticking by one single property for so long. At the end of the day I like art because of the artists, and you glean more about a creative seeing them tackle a wide gamut of stories than you do if they anchor themselves to one.

I'm starting to think I just really like short media collections. UFO50 is my standout game of the last 3 years, Torture Works is one of my favorite books ever, I love episodic TV... Hm.

Last three books I've read were written by indie transfem authors, so in keeping with the trend I'll be starting The Nick Adams Stories by Hemingway.

I know the comparison's trite at this point but as an Argentine it's shocking how similar this all is to Videla, Pinochet and the like. Centros clandestinos and all.

If you don't think you can stomach all of the collection please please *please* try Every Day For The Rest Of Your Life. It's maybe the best short story I've ever read and you can find it online.

Just wrapped up reading Maggie Siebert's Bonding. What a phenomenal book, if you enjoy horror and sensory prose this is a must-read.

Do you think someone living in a simulated reality would be more or less likely to realize their predicament upon watching The Truman Show (1998)?
Would showing them the movie make it more obvious or would it convince them that kind of thing can only happen in fiction?
