I never really liked Hollow Knight tbh, it always felt like a platformer made for people who prefer soulslikes to platformers, and as a person who's never played Dark Souls but has like 300 hours on Mario Maker 2 and ~400 on Shovel Knight Treasure Trove it just doesn't really work for me.

Like I get Mother 4 and/or Oddity are never coming out but hoooooly shit dude can someone buy the rights to the OST at least? Like it sucks to know that one of my favorite game soundtracks was made for a game that is never gonna release and won't even use the music if it does.

talking about the Horses/Steam controversy and all the topics surrounding it

I think it's kind of interesting how there are 1909209102921 porn games on Steam that feature sexual violence, slavery, and torture in an effort to titillate the player, but the second a game includes those themes to analyze and critique the ways in which they're normalized within society it gets nuked from orbit.
Like there's a fascinating Second Wind video where they go "why is Horses banned but THESE games aren't when they feature the same stuff??" and then show a bunch of games you're supposed to jack off to. Like they don't point out the difference in genre at any point even though that's the obvious thing separating Hentai Slave Harem 3 and Horses, if violence against women is something you're meant to find hot it's allowed and if it's something you're meant to sit with and find revolting it's not. Not saying that either of these should or shouldn't be on Steam, but it's frankly really telling how one is and one isn't.
