Vince Gilligan is one of those creatives that would be good if there were any friction to how he engages with the world. Haven't seen all of Breaking Bad but at least the first couple seasons and Pluribus are so *close* to being fantastic but they're ruined by the fact that they're very obviously made by someone who's never left his Virginia suburb.

It's literally so sad how Panda is the only Tokyo Jujutsu High student to just up and die by the end of the series. Not bad storytelling or anything but he was the most uncomplicatedly cool mellow character there so the fact that HE's beefs it to Kashimo of all people just hurts.

Not to be a gooner on main or whatever but it's kind of insane how good Funkybun is at making porn. There's this tenderness and personality to all her work that makes it all just so *pleasant*, which is not really an adjective I'd use to describe most porn? The art itself isn't even thaaat good but the writing and character work is genuinely masterful, she's in a league of her own.

Now that I've read the entirety of JJK I gotta say that so many of its problems would be solved if it was just an anthology series. Do like 5 volumes each of the second years, first years, third years, and hidden inventory and then have all those characters crash into each other in a massive blowup against the big bad. Akutami is really good at designing characters and making interesting set pieces but he sucks giga ass at developing those characters and writing the overarching story, so he should've gone for a style of narrative that fit his style better.

moderation policies

the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
