CriminalCabbage@ni.hil.istFYI ABCF seems pretty legit and responsible with their money. They reliably have been giving monthly stipends to cool people. So if you don't have a ton of money or time to help out prisoners donating to abcf seems like an easy way to get ur money to political prisoners. Currently they have a 50 monthly stipends for 18 people.

It was a large gathering, and several of us were wearing #masks to protect against #covid19. It's a bloody pandemic, after all!
I did not comply, but felt very uncomfortable after the order. As if a target had been painted on my forehead.
It doesn't help that anti-mask attitudes are the new norm, and that those trying to avoid covid are abandoned from all sides. And yes, lefties, this includes many of you.

There was a pretty big petition in my country to accept queer Americans as refugees for how they're being treated, particularly in the red states. Not sure where that'll go; there's echos of the hatred here too
It's felt like we're days away from complete collapse for a long time but never like this. At least, not in my narrow experience of my life

- you must be over 14 years old to join. coral castle's servers are hosted in chile, and under article 19,628 of the laws of chile, we are unauthorized to collect data from people under 14.
- do not spam or raid. the fediverse is not your space to intoxicate.
- nsfw/nsfl content must be marked as sensitive. coral castle is built to be used as a casual instance, and as such should be accessible anywhere.
- hate speech, paraphilia, and harassment will get you banned. having basic human decency is key anywhere. whether it is in real life or on the internet, don't be a jerk.
- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
