@coolbeans one is like, the nice relaxing pet kind like you'd expect and the other is some weird pseudoscience thing where the bird is supposed to absorb an illness from the patient and die and uh, yeah weird

really seems like 80% of my problems these days actually stem from just not eating enough. keep getting upset about things and crying a lot only to realize, damn I'm really really hungry and have barely eaten the past couple days
so i eat and suddenly the stuff i was upset about just isn't anywhere near as bad as i thought it was before.
if i could learn to recognize that a bit sooner instead of only afterwards it would help a lot.
