he got pissy and yelled at me in front of the whole class for “trying to prove im smarter than him” and shit when i was trying to ask him where my proof was wrong (he marked it wrong but never bothered to tell me why. i verified it later and it is a completely valid proof, i just didn’t follow his exact steps so he didn’t like it

People are responsible for what they do, not for what other people who tangentially belong to some arbitrary demographic group they have in common.
I really had someone come into my mentions to claim that “The Tribe,” in the sense of all Jewish people, are responsible for the genocide in Gaza.
Nope! Fuck that. Arbitrary demographic groups do not behave as unitary, corporate actors. That is the logic of the state, of hierarchies and oppression, of simplifying the full panoply of human complexity and diversity into a handful of legible blobs on a map.

moderation policies
