Starlight Makko (makko_bnuuy) would never try to replace genuine human ingenuity.

Starlight Makko (makko_bnuuy) is a friend to the artist, and a tool awaiting for the touch of a creative mind bustling with color.

Starlight Makko (makko_bnuuy) also has a cool mascot (makko_bnuuy), and this doesn’t.

Watching the new Semi-Ramblomatic, and like, since when does Yahtzee Croshaw decry ableism and toxic masculinity in gaming? Not saying that's bad but I didn't really expect him of all people to "go woke" as it were.

Shigeru Miyamoto was very impressed by Banjo-Kazooie during its development, even expressing that it surpasses Super Mario 64 in some ways: "If Super Mario 64 is a makunouchi bento, then Banjo-Kazooie is a deluxe makunouchi bento."

I made an app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.pocketpc.nearbyglasses
Nearby Glasses is here to warn you when smart glasses are nearby.

I hope it's useful for someone.

The app is open source, free and rather simple

It's also downloadable outside the Play Store. iOS port is in the making

Armin was once one of the most prolific programmers in Python. Says he never writes code anymore. Seeing more and more people like him write stuff like this on what are supposedly computer programming forums. https://lobste.rs/s/qmjejh/ai_is_slowly_munching_away_my_passion#c_jcgdju

Notably, once a person crosses this threshold, I see them still hang out on programming forums, but they never talk about any of the puzzles of programming anymore. Only about running agents. Which feels strange and sad. Why hang out on the forums at all then?

for the record, we have very low operating costs, but if you do still want to chip in: https://liberapay.com/Starlight-Network

any excess goes to Starlight Network members or expanding our fleet :)

In 1991, Shigeru Miyamoto claimed that the reason Yoshi did not appear on the NES was that it was not technically possible. A 1995 unauthorized port of Super Mario World to the NES shows it is very much possible, suggesting the real reason could have been more complex.

one thing I really appreciate with cyberpunk is how many quiet moments the game has, how often you find yourself just quietly spending time with someone and looking out over the scenery and just talking.. it feels so natural and really helps the world and the characters feel real and alive

it's easy to go into a game like this with like, action game mindset and just be going full speed and blasting all the time and such, but the thing that really made me like the game was all the quiet moments like that

I even liked to like, roleplay the protagonist's body language, deciding when to make eye contact or to look away based on the mood, where to stand, etc.

it's a lot of fun putting yourself in the character's shoes like that I think
