It has a lot of gameplay and worldbuilding shortcomings but oughghghghhh god the espionage and political intrigue are so so so good. I really wish this game was a novel or something.

There's something to be said about how Disco Elysium is a really bad murder mystery despite being a 10/10, yet Zero Parades is a fucking fantastic spy story despite only being a 7/10.

The fact that people still buy mined diamonds even though we can grow identical shit in labs is genuinely disheartening. Some folks will pay premium prices for the knowledge their jewellery caused others to suffer and that's just accepted, it's normal.
