My read on Jujutsu Kaisen's gender politics is that Gege Akutami loves designing women but hates writing them, so over and over you get really cool female characters with neat powers for a single scene or two before we return to the actual plot. Which is better than if there weren't any women at all, I guess?

I get why JJK is the way it is but I kinda wish the series was just a full length multi-volume Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Geto as a villain and Yuta as a hero work so well....

Something I love about Hidden Inventory is how everyone has personalized uniforms except for Nanami. Geto has his pants, Haibara has his jacket, even Gojo trimmed down the neck, but not Nanami. Him going from standard school uniform to standard work uniform to his signature colorful getup is a great way of visually showing his arc.

Yeah, joan's right here, it's insane this has to be stated but having a bad sense of humor as a teenager should not be a black mark against you for your entire life, and it's insane people hold trans women to this insane standard and let others off the hook. Also for the record the stuff she said was incredibly mild.

Hi, I say this with all due respect, but you're being a complete tool right now.
Hold her accountable for what? She made a couple bad jokes ten years ago when she wasn't a public figure, all of which she's apologized for, what more do you expect? You say harassment is wrong but when you keep endlessly expecting "accountability" from someone who's already been held accountable there's nothing they can do to comply other than lay down and rot while their presence on the internet gets wiped, which is what's happening to her.
Also, how fucking dare you invoke this shallow "other people have it worse" rhetoric. When talking about a single instance of a bad thing happening I don't fucking care if it's happened worse to others, it's still bad that it's happening now. Please don't appeal to this petty faux-woke shit when you're in a Hispanic woman's mentions.
And, finally, fuck off. White trans women aren't "white first" and while that privilege certainly holds weight it doesn't outweigh the crippling levels of oppression they face. She made her career on the internet and relies on people picking up and sharing her works, if these people get their way and unperson her I'm not entirely sure she'll be "fine", actually.

There was a brief moment in time during the 10's where mass internet mobbing was thought of as a way to keep millionaires accountable and then people realized it was infinitely more effective as a tool for killing trans girls, so they started doing that instead.
