It has been three and a half months since I announced “I will make Papers – the soon-to-be default document viewer in GNOME – work on mobile, while improving the UI in general.”

For that, I was granted a stipend by Google Open Source. And, I would say: I delivered on this promise—see for your self, with the next release of Papers.

Would it help mobile Linux to have more apps? What about a FOSS Linux app in a popular category we have NOTHING for now?

Well, @lofenyy is a dev offering to develop the first FOSS, mobile Linux sleep tracking app for *peanuts*, and he's ONLY SHORT $425 of pledges in the next ~48 hours to make it real!

@speaktrap polish rough edges, we dont have cooling logic in the charging driver, i think we can't do wifi hotspot, and about hardware, fingerprint sensor
