i do find it funny (and a tiny bit irritating) how the 'biohazard' water and the 'nuclear waste' water use the same texture and have some conflicting signage in the environment around them

also, idk why anyone would want to use the hd models. everyone knows that HL1 is jank and the original models just enhance that. plus, if you're like me, you can take things seriously anyways *while also* looking at the silly, blocky mugs of the cast

Now that I live in Chile I'm starting to fully wrap my head around the sheer extent of the damage that Pinochet and the CIA did, and like, fuck. They took the world's first democratically elected socialist government, the most promising left wing project in recorded human history, and they systematically crushed it, first economically, then diplomatically, and finally through sheer terroristic violence, just because they couldn't stand brown people's lives being made better through a way other than liberal capitalism. September eleventh deserves to be recognized as a day of mourning not just because of what happened on 2001, but also because of the thousands of lives lost as a result of 1973.

UK politics, Future Starlight Network goals, Response by the government about the Online Safety Act Petition
Show content

The Government has no plans to repeal the Online Safety Act, and is working closely with Ofcom to implement the Act as quickly and effectively as possible to enable UK users to benefit from its protections.

We, the Starlight Network Team, despise the government of the United Kingdom for setting back internet privacy and anonymity back many years, as well as abusing children and their safety as a talking point to make it happen.

effective immediately, we will make an active effort to push for and support campaigns that help UK users bypass internet restrictions and preserve their privacy. Same goes for activism against KOSA, ChatControl, and similar proposals all across the world.

That doesn’t mean we weren’t already personally interested, but we now officially declare it as one of our goals.
