There has to be only humans in the loop. The more we rely on AI to do our bidding, the more we willingly break down the structures that we've built in Open-Source and beyond. All the strategies we've built to collaborate together efficiently, from all over the world from all walks of life, are eroded by adopting these tools that require us to distrust and triple-check every single contributor.#AI

People who say "everything uses AI nowadays" need to shut up. Stuff can still be done without it and I don't want to think about how so many projects suck up to the really untrustworthy black box over the cloud that is Claude.

shroomie@konej i do think that trans men suffer from patriarchy from being assigned female from birth the same way that trans women suffer from patriarchy by choosing to be female, though. how much they suffer for this is up to argument however and it’s such a nuanced issue that any answer that tries to definitively say “trans women suffer this much and trans men suffer this much” will be partially-or-wholly incorrect and will deny some people of their experiences

- you must be over 14 years old to join. coral castle's servers are hosted in chile, and under article 19,628 of the laws of chile, we are unauthorized to collect data from people under 14.
- do not spam or raid. the fediverse is not your space to intoxicate.
- nsfw/nsfl content must be marked as sensitive. coral castle is built to be used as a casual instance, and as such should be accessible anywhere.
- hate speech, paraphilia, and harassment will get you banned. having basic human decency is key anywhere. whether it is in real life or on the internet, don't be a jerk.
- keep things legal. this includes pirated content, since we want to keep a good relationship across fediverse servers. posting CSAM is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.
moderation policies
the sanctions for local users will be relative to the gravity of their infringements, varying from simply deleting the offending material, to warning the user through a three-strike system, to immediately banning the offending user.
